Erik Fern Awarded AV Preeminent Rating by Martindale-Hubbell
Berry Law is very proud to announce that Erik Fern has been awarded the AV Preeminent Rating by Martindale-Hubbell. The Martindale-Hubbell peer and client review ratings acts as a benchmark for the legal community to determine the most highly-respected, ethically-sound, and successful attorneys. It is a significant achievement, and Berry Law is excited that another member of the team has received the prestigious award.
The Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent Rating is extremely selective and only awarded to attorneys who have been ranked highly by judges, local attorneys, and other peers in their respective legal practice area for both their professionalism and legal ability. The AV Preeminent rating is the highest peer rating standard that Martindale-Hubbell offers, and the award is reserved for lawyers who represent their clients with the highest ethical behavior and professional ability. Individual attorneys are rated by their peers on a scale from 1 (lowest) to 5 (highest) in five different categories, including:
- Legal Knowledge
- Analytical Capabilities
- Communication Ability
- Legal Experience
The confidentiality, objectivity, and complete independence of the ratings process are what have made the program a unique and credible evaluation tool for members of the legal profession. The legal community values the accuracy of lawyer peer review ratings because they are determined by their peers – the people who are best suited to assess the legal ability and professional ethics of their colleagues.
Erik Fern has been practicing law for more than 12 years, focusing his practice on personal injury, civil rights, general civil litigation, and appeals. He believes that sound preparedness, careful thought, and diligence are the most important assets to being successful not only in the legal field, but also life in general. Fern’s designation as an AV preeminent lawyer is no surprise to his colleagues or clients, who have consistently provided him with positive reviews.
Fern will join Berry Law attorneys John Stevens Berry, Sr., John S. Berry, Jr., Andrew Strotman, Christopher Ferdico, Kathleen Pallesen, and Susan Napolitano as a recipient of the AV Preeminent Rating.
Erik Fern’s achievement is the latest in a long series of accolades earned by our legal team for their service to clients, and the team continues to develop to meet your needs. If you or a loved one are facing a legal crisis, please contact Berry Law to see how we can help you fight your next battle.
