Las Vegas Morning Blend recently hosted Berry Law CEO and Army Veteran John S. Berry, , to discuss Veterans Disability and PTSD.
As a Veteran who has worked with fellow Veterans throughout his career, John details some of the biggest problems with the stigma around PTSD, stating, “I think the biggest problem with the stigmas associated with PTSD is that your weak. In the military, warriors don’t take breaks. In the short-term, it is great to say suck it up and drive on. In the real word, long-term, it’s dangerous. And, unfortunately, the stigma prevents people from stepping forward and asking for help.”
