Berry explains some key leadership principles he learned in the military and how they helped him grow a successful law firm, explaining how you have to start over after returning from service, “What you did in the military, while it was important and was an important part of your life, that is not the next battle. That is not who you are going forward.” He further explains, “You picked a lot of great skills in the military, probably developed a lot of great relationships. But at the end of the day, you’re starting over.”
