Berry Law Welcomes Mykaylan Burner as an Advocate for Justice and Equal Access to Legal Representation
Omaha, NE – October 10, 2024 – Berry Law is proud to welcome Mykaylan Burner as a new addition to its team of dedicated personal injury attorneys. Mykaylan brings a unique combination of legal experience and passion for advocacy, making her an invaluable asset to the firm. Her work in the Creighton Juvenile Justice Legal Clinic and extensive pro bono service have equipped her with the skills and compassion needed to provide exceptional representation to those in need.
Mykaylan earned her Juris Doctor from Creighton University School of Law in May 2024 and was admitted to the Nebraska State Bar and the Nebraska District Court in September 2024. While at Creighton, she completed over 50 hours of pro bono service, earning the Creighton Pro Bono Service Distinction. She also received recognition from the Nebraska Supreme Court Access to Justice Commission and the Nebraska State Bar Association for her commitment to providing legal services to those with limited means.
One of Mykaylan’s most rewarding experiences was first-chairing a hearing that resulted in a young client’s successful release from probation. “Seeing her progress and the joy it brought her family was a powerful reminder of why I chose to pursue law,” Mykaylan shared. “I am excited to join Berry Law and continue supporting those who need it most.”
Josh Yambor, Head of the Personal Injury Division and attorney at Berry Law, expressed his enthusiasm for Mykaylan joining the firm: “We are delighted to have Mykaylan joining Berry Law as a lawyer. She’s a valuable addition to the team and we look forward to her future successes. Most importantly, she’s an incredible asset to our personal injury clients in fighting for the compensation they deserve.”
Outside of the office, Mykaylan is an active fitness enthusiast who loves weightlifting and exploring new workout routines. She is an avid reader of horror novels and enjoys attending live music events. She is also currently working on becoming a gin connoisseur and loves spending time with her bearded dragon.
