LINCOLN, NEBRASKA, November 19, 2021 – Berry Law is proud to be a top sponsor of the University of Nebraska Student Veterans Organization, Nebraska vs. Iowa “The Things They Carry Ruck March” 2021. According to the College Factual rating scale, University of Nebraska- Lincoln was named 2021 Best Colleges for Veterans in the United States. Organizations such as UNSVO, provide advocacy for student veterans, a setting for veterans to get to know other veterans and promote camaraderie between them. Long standing rivalry between the two colleges University of Iowa and University of Nebraska are putting it aside to come together and tackle veteran suicide.

The 325-mile ruck march kicked off on Wednesday, November 17th, 2021. Team Iowa will hand off the game ball to Team Nebraska at Freedom Rock in Menlo, Iowa. Nebraska Veterans will hand deliver the game ball November 26th at the Cornhusker and Hawkeye game.

is a roughly 365-mile road march that is conducted annually with the University of Iowa Student Veterans and University of Nebraska Student Veterans. They will be rucking the game ball from Kinnick Stadium in Iowa to Memorial Stadium in Nebraska to raise awareness for Veteran suicide.
