Jamie Bell brings a wealth of legal expertise and a deep commitment to upholding the United States Constitution and supporting those who defend it. As an accomplished attorney at Berry Law, she plays a pivotal role in assisting Veterans with their appeals for VA disability decisions.
“Assisting Veterans in obtaining their well-deserved disability benefits is immensely rewarding. The VA system can be intricate and confusing, and many veterans are unaware of its requirements. By serving as their attorney or advocate, I strive to encourage the VA to provide the support and assistance that veterans truly deserve.”
With a distinguished professional background working with individuals from diverse backgrounds across the nation, Bell takes great pride in her ability to empathize with clients from all walks of life. She immerses herself in each client’s unique circumstances, fighting tirelessly for justice as if it were her own.
“To truly help my clients, I believe it’s essential to understand their stories and experiences on a personal level.”
Jamie pursued her education at Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. Following her undergraduate studies, she attended law school at Creighton University School of Law, where she excelled academically. Jamie received her Juris Doctor degree with honors and garnered recognition as a CALI Award recipient in Legal Research & Writing, Constitutional Law, Civil Procedure, and Federal Habeas Corpus. Additionally, she actively participated in several organizations, including Law Ambassadors, Phi Alpha Delta, and Delta Sigma Nu, while also showcasing her skills in the National Criminal Justice Trial competition.
Understanding that the benefits appeals process can be a lengthy endeavor, Jamie approaches her work with a meticulous and determined mindset. Rather than viewing potential obstacles as setbacks, she embraces a positive perspective, always seeking ways to effect immediate change.
“I believe in taking a proactive approach and addressing issues head-on. My focus is on what we can accomplish right now and how best to navigate future challenges.”
In her leisure time, Jamie enjoys pursuing creative hobbies such as crafting, quilting, and crocheting. She also finds joy in spending quality moments with her beloved Cocker Spaniel-Yorkie, Zoey.

"After spending 3 years getting denied over and over, I contacted Berry Law. Not only was I contacted the same day, but my claims were immediately being worked on. Prior to contacting Berry Law, I went through the process with another law firm and a VSO, all routes I went through were unsuccessful. Jamie Bell started on my case and within 4 months, not only did I have a successful claim, but it succeeded more than I could have hoped for. Jamie went out of her way for my claim and it shows. Thank you."
"Thank you Berry Law for getting me a (92%) rating which was an increase from 60% in less than 6 months. I had previously used VSO's for two years, to no avail. My lawyer Jamie Bell from the Omaha, NE, office was relentless and kept me well informed throughout the entire process. This new rating decision has been a blessing to both me and my family. I highly recommend the firm and have nothing but high praises to Attorney Jamie Bell."
"Berry Law Firm and especially Jamie saved my life! I was suffering from PTSD for years without help from the VA. Jamie worked diligently until the VA granted me service connection. I can now get the services I need with medical staff who specialize in PTSD. Thank you again Berry Law Firm! You are lucky to have someone as dedicated to the Veterans as Jamie. The Veterans are lucky, too!"
