Thomas "T.J." Kroh
Berry Law Attorney
Husband, Veteran’s Son, Outdoorsman, Attorney at Berry Law
Thomas “T.J.” Kroh loves helping Veterans. As a Veteran’s son, T.J. grew up witnessing how difficult navigating the Veterans Affairs system can be and vowed to eventually do his part to help. Today, T.J. diligently defends Veterans and helps them receive the disability benefits they deserve. An optimist with a fervent dedication to justice, T.J. knows that even the most difficult case can be won with teamwork, determination, and a little bit of creativity.
T.J. is emboldened by helping others and encourages each of his clients to get to know him on a personal level. He is an intensely honest person and strives to be someone his clients can trust, believing that a genuine connection with them is the firmest path to victory. He works tirelessly to find new, creative solutions to every case and is especially excited about winning cases for Veterans who have been fighting the VA for a long time. T.J. greets every day as an opportunity to help others and welcomes the opportunity to help you, too.
Work with TJ
“The pessimist sees difficulty in every opportunity. The optimist sees opportunity in every difficulty.”
Winston ChurchillHistory of Dedication
After earning his bachelor’s degree from Benedictine College, TJ immediately returned to receive his Juris Doctorate from the University of Nebraska College of Law. Before graduating with distinction, he was recognized with the prestigious CALI Excellence for the Future Award, which is given only to the highest scoring law student in each class.
TJ became an attorney to help people like his father, a disabled Veteran, and to defend each client with the same dedication he shows his family. Though TJ hasn’t served overseas himself, he sees his role as a Veterans’ disability attorney as his way to serve his country and defend our nation’s heroes. There’s nothing he’d rather do.
Call of the Wild
When TJ isn’t advocating for Veterans, he might be spotted pitching a tent at a remote campground and enjoying an afternoon of fishing and hiking. He’s also a bit of a sharpshooter; he’s a regular at the shooting range and has been known to hit the bullseye when he’s axe-throwing. TJ loves cheering for the Royals with his wife, Shannon, and playing fetch with his rambunctious West Highland Terrier, Sam. He greets each day as the opening for a new adventure and welcomes the chance to improve the world around him with each new person—and client—he meets.
"Highly recommend Berry Law, especially Thomas Kroh (T.J.) he has done an excellent job in my case and I am very thankful for his hard work and dedication."
