Meet Taylor Loy
Dedicated Advocate for Justice and Community Service
Taylor Loy is an attorney at Berry Law who is driven by a passion for justice and a commitment to serving others. With a background in higher education, where she worked on grants and contracts, Taylor made the courageous decision to pursue a career in law. Since earning her Juris Doctor from Creighton University School of Law in 2021, she has been dedicated to advocating for her clients and making a positive impact in her community.
Taylor’s journey into law was inspired by her father, who encouraged her from a young age to use her skills to help others. This early influence shaped her professional path and continues to fuel her passion for supporting those who need it most. Although she is at the beginning of her legal career, Taylor has already demonstrated remarkable dedication and resilience, earning recognitions such as the Pro Bono Service Distinction in 2021 and an Outstanding Performance Stipend in 2023.
One of the most meaningful experiences of Taylor’s life was leading a service trip to a reservation in North Dakota. During this trip, she learned the true meaning of service—helping in the ways that are most needed, even when those needs differ from initial expectations. This experience deepened her understanding of what it means to serve others and strengthened her commitment to making a difference in the lives of her clients.
Taylor lives by the motto, “Have grit.” This simple yet powerful statement reflects her determination and perseverance in overcoming challenges both in her legal practice and personal life. Outside of work, Taylor enjoys gardening, including propagating plants and making her own compost. She also loves cooking and baking, often experimenting with new and themed recipes. Taylor is the proud owner of two adopted cats, showcasing her love for animals and her nurturing nature.
Committed to giving back, Taylor is actively involved in community service, particularly in supporting local schools and children through activities such as school supply drives and backpack meal programs. She also believes in the power of teamwork, having helped coordinate multiple community events, from making tie blankets for shelters to establishing little free pantries.
Known for her kindness and hard work, Taylor wants her clients to remember her dedication to their needs. She encourages clients to trust themselves and their decisions, especially in times of uncertainty when choosing the right attorney or law firm. Moving forward, Taylor aims to continue growing as an attorney, expanding her knowledge of the law, and developing skills in mediation to better serve her clients.
Taylor Loy’s dedication to her clients, her passion for service, and her commitment to personal growth make her an invaluable asset to Berry Law and the communities she serves.
Work with Taylor"I was referred by a fellow veteran to Berry Law. Even though I work and live overseas, Berry Law firm was willing to take my case which a lot of other firms don't. I chose Berry Law as my representative because they have excellent reputation and heard goods thing from my fellow veterans. I liked working with Berry Law because they were very clear from the beginning about fees and their plans to win my case. They followed up promptly. I couldn't be happier working with them. They were willing to help beyond my expectations. I got what I wanted and my life has changed positive way. Thank you so much for everything. I love you guys."
