Taylor Wikum
A forward observer and military police officer in the Colorado Army National Guard, Taylor Wikum discovered what it meant to serve heroes in his community. During his 6-year enlistment, Taylor responded to a series of state emergencies including the 2013 Poudre Canyon floods. As a result of his prodigious service, he received the National Defense Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, and Colorado Emergency Service Ribbon.
As an Army Veteran, Taylor understands the hardships that Veterans face when applying for disability benefits. Taylor made it his mission to simplify this process, from start to finish. His warrior ethos philosophy dictates his mindset that no one will be left behind. Continuing to live by these values, Taylor gives his undivided attention to every one of his clients.
Taylor obtained his Bachelor of Arts in English cum laude from the University of Northern Colorado, and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Nebraska College of Law. A former athlete and captain of both his cross country and track teams, Taylor understands the true value of hard work and perseverance. Taylor’s relentless pursuit of excellence provides him with the tenacity and endurance required to fight for Veteran’s disability claims and to not stop until he reaches the finish line.
When not zealously advocating for his clients, Taylor spends much of his free time hiking, biking, or camping with friends and family.
Work with Taylor"Mr. Wikum worked very quickly over the last few months to appeal my VA disability claim from 40% to 90%. He remained in frequent contact with me to provide updates as well as encouragement while I was navigating the VA exam process. Thanks!"
"With the help of Berry Law, I was able to achieve 100% total and permanent rating. From the initial conversation with Taylor Wikum, he was attentive and very knowledgeable in the claim process. With help of his legal assistant Rosario, there was always clear communication in the steps happening. The process of using Berry Law took all the stress out of submitting the claim and ensuring I didn't leave anything out. I have two recommendations: 1. Put your documents together and organize them in accordance with your claim. This will ensure the proper records are viewed. 2. Hire Berry Law Firm, with their hands-on approach, they can guide you and help you get what is deserved of any service-related injuries. Thank you again Taylor, this process and victory has been life changing."
"I could NOT have done it without Mr. Wikum!!! After trying for years to work on my VA Disability alone (and a short time with a VSO), I got fed up with the VA system and decided to search for another way to move forward in pursuing my VA Claims. I had seen many ads for lawyers that help veterans with their claims, but I always thought it was scammy until I spoke to a fellow veteran who told me hiring a lawyer was the best thing he had ever done. After that, I found Berry Law with a Google search, and the process of getting paired with a lawyer was painless and was such a relief. Taylor Wikum was easy to talk to and helped me get all the documentation I needed to push my claims forward and ensure that nothing fell through the cracks. I am eternally grateful to Taylor, his assistant, and all the staff at Berry Law. I've been telling many other veterans about this firm and will continue to do so! Thank you so much, Taylor and the Berry Law Firm!"
