Berry Law is pleased to announce that Susan Napolitano joined the Firm in April, 2018. Susan has been a champion of her clients’ interests in many practice areas, and at Berry Law, she will is focusing on real estate law, business litigation, and estate planning.
Prior to joining Berry Law’s Civil Law Team, Susan Napolitano served as General Counsel for an established international healthcare consulting company. Before that, she was a partner at a medium-sized law firm where she diligently defended and guarded her clients’ interests in the areas of business law, real estate law, and estate planning.
Susan earned her law degree in 2006 from the University of Nebraska College of Law, where she was Member of the Nebraska Law Review and received several awards for academic excellence. She has focused her practice on real estate litigation, real estate transactions, estate planning, business transactions, and business litigation.
Not many real estate lawyers can say they grew up on construction sites, but Susan Napolitano learned the real estate industry literally from the ground up. Her father was a residential builder, so Susan’s school-age summer activities evolved from straightening nails to leveling cement to taping, mudding, and sanding drywall, which she still claims she can do better than most. She has served on the board for Habitat for Humanity in the past and has worked with the organization on several builds.
Having run a law firm and worked as corporate counsel, Susan Napolitano understands that unexpected fees can throw a business budget off quickly, sometimes even irreparably. That is why Susan and her team implemented Berry Law’s Corporate Counsel program to provide budget-based legal services for growing companies that are not quite ready to hire full time in-house counsel but need high quality legal services on a regular basis.
Ms. Napolitano has a reputation for fiercely defending the interests of her clients while keeping an eye toward cost-efficient problem solving. She is an experienced litigator who has successfully resolved disputes over probate assets, trusts, and claims to the proceeds of financial accounts. When you need a tireless advocate to protect the hard-earned assets of a loved one in an estate dispute, call Susan Napolitano at Berry Law.
