We’re looking for students who are passionate about resolving legal issues and seeking real-life experience from law internships to make a difference in the lives of our clients.

Is this opportunity available to me beyond the summer?
Yes! After completing the summer program, you can choose to work during the school year and return the following summer. You have the flexibility to set your schedule based on your availability during the school year.
Do law firms hire 3Ls?
Absolutely! We encourage 3Ls to apply.
What GPA or class rank is required?
Berry Law requires strong academic success, writing skills, and a demonstrated work ethic. We look for students in the top 10% of their class, or top 30% if you are a veteran or military spouse. We seek individuals who fit our culture, are passionate about 5-star client service, are highly competitive, and are willing to go above and beyond for our mission.
Does Berry Law Pay for Bar Prep?
Yes, new associates in the law internship are reimbursed for reasonable expenses related to one bar review course, the bar exam fee, and the application for determination of moral character. Clerks are allowed up to six weeks of unpaid time off to prepare for the bar exam.
How to Apply:
Applications for the Summer Associate Program open each year on September 1st and close on March 15th. The Summer Associate program runs from the third week in May through the first week in August.
Berry Law hosts OCIs (on-campus interviews) and lunch and learns at the University of Nebraska Lincoln, Creighton University, and Drake University. Students at these universities are encouraged to apply through their university application process. Otherwise, interested Associates may apply through the Berry Law website at https://jsberrylaw.bamboohr.com/careers
