Suzanne Kaufman-McNamara assists Veterans appealing VA rating decisions and fights for their disability benefits. A retired U.S. Air Force Master Sergeant, Suzanne understands the struggles Veterans face in receiving compensation from the VA. She is accredited by the Department of Veterans Affairs to represent claimants for VA benefits, and has assisted hundreds of Veterans with developing and appealing their claims at VA Regional Offices across the nation. She also represents clients with cases in family law, bankruptcy, and employment law.
Suzanne graduated cum laude from Excelsior College, and from Creighton University School of Law with a concentration in Dispute Resolution. She is also a member of the National Organization of Veterans Advocates.
Coming from a military family, Suzanne is a retired U.S. Air Force Master Sergeant, and her husband is a retired Air Force Senior Master Sergeant. Her brother and daughter are combat Veterans, serving in the Vietnam War and Operation Iraqi Freedom, respectively. Suzanne served on the Board of Directors for Grace After Fire, an organization committed to providing women Veterans with the means to help themselves through self-knowledge and self-renewal, and by connecting them with needed resources. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Veterans Legal Services Network (VLSN), is a board member of the Nebraska State Bar Association Veterans’ Law Section, and is a graduate of the NE State Bar Association Leadership Academy. Suzanne appeals VA decisions throughout the United States and has appeared at the United States District Court for the District of Nebraska and the United States Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims.
