Established in 1965 by highly accomplished trial lawyer and Vietnam Veteran John Stevens Berry Sr., Lincoln-based Berry Law has been defending, protecting, and championing the rights of warriors for more than 50 years.
Today, Managing Partner and CEO John S. Berry and his team are working toward growing that legacy. They represent seriously injured Nebraskans throughout the state and thousands of military Veterans nationwide in Personal Injury, Criminal Defense, and Veterans Disability Benefits cases.
“We were seeing the difference we were making in the lives of our clients regionally and nationally. The more you grow, the more capabilities you have to service clients,” said Berry. “We have two visions. We want to represent 10,000 Veterans by the end of 2022, and we have specific goals for the number of trials we want to win every year.”
Berry Law was named by Inc. Magazine as one of the top 5000 fastest-growing privately held companies in the United States for the fifth consecutive year—a list that ranks companies by overall revenue growth for a three-year period. Berry says that the firm’s repeat appearances have been intentional.
“We are a Veteran-centric organization. Veterans know how to execute, take feedback as a gift, and get results. People who are drawn to the military are drawn to a challenge. We aggressively recruit Veterans to our ranks because they find commonalities with our clients through their shared values, discipline, and drive. They understand the gravity of their client’s position, and people’s futures depend on the results they achieve.
