To meet the rapid growth in demand for our services at Berry Law, we have added two new skilled attorneys to the team. Berry Law is proud to announce that Josef Loukota and William Kurtenbach have both decided to help us continue to provide high quality legal representation. They each bring a unique background and skillset that will further expand the five-star service we provide to our existing clients, while welcoming new opportunities to help defend the rights of Nebraskans and all Americans.
Josef (Joe) Loukota is a Veterans Disability lawyer who has developed critical experience helping Veterans battle for the disability benefits that were guaranteed to them. Joe has joined Berry Law’s nationwide Veterans Disability practice that provides Veterans with the aggressive legal support they need to receive the disability compensation they deserve.
Joe found his passion for supporting Veterans while he was serving in the US Navy. He served on Active Duty for six years, during which he deployed to the Western Pacific and served in Iraq. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha before completing his J.D., with distinction, at the University of Nebraska College of Law.
Prior to joining the team, Joe worked with Legal Aid of Nebraska as part of a Veteran-to-farmer outreach program. He also helped Veterans access their G.I. Bill education benefits while working in the Military and Veterans Services Office at the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
William Kurtenbach is a criminal attorney who is committed to ensuring that individuals accused of a crime receive all the protections afforded to them in the United States Constitution. William practices in the area of criminal defense, with an emphasis on combating allegations related to DUIs/DWIs, drug crimes, sex crimes, and Interstate drug stops. He is licensed to defend clients facing State or Federal charges in the state of Nebraska.
William earned his J.D. from the University of Nebraska College of Law. Prior to law school, he attended Briar Cliff University in Sioux City, Iowa, where he received his B.S. in Mathematics and Chemistry. As a law clerk at Berry Law, William built up a strong resume of supporting other attorneys on criminal defense cases.
The addition of Joe and William to the team is a major victory in Berry Law’s mission to offer clients the best legal representation available, and we are excited to see their hard work directly support our clients.
