Andrew Strotman is the Firm’s General Counsel, having focused his career handling complex litigation in the areas of white-collar criminal defense, complicated regulatory matters and civil cases in federal, military and state courts. His clients include corporations, principals, banks, public officials (including law enforcement officers) and other public facing personnel. He advises businesses on internal investigations and employee misconduct situations, as well as subpoenas investigatory demands implicating HIPAA, financial privacy and other matters involving the government or the criminal system.
Andy received both his B.A. and J.D. from Creighton University, graduating magna cum laude and summa cum laude, respectively. He also attended the Naval Justice School, which instructs Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard officers and enlisted personnel in the fundamental principles of military justice, civil and administrative law, and procedure.
Andy is a Marine, having spent ten years in the Corp, first as an infantry officer and later as a judge advocate. He also commanded a rifle platoon, a Dragons platoon, and a company in the Second Marine Division. After earning his J.D., he served as a trial defense counsel at the Marine Corps Base in Quantico, Virginia, where he participated in numerous cases with charges ranging from homicide to capital espionage.
Andy is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys fishing, hunting and boating. He is a connoisseur of classic westerns and is often seen in cowboy boots.
